Women’s Health Naturopath
If you’re feeling exhausted, overwhelmed or noticing changes in your health, you’re not alone.
Many women move through their life juggling work, family and the constant demands of life. Over time this pressure can begin to show up in the body as hormonal imbalances, digestive issues, poor sleep, stubborn weight gain and metabolic issues or ongoing fatigue.
As a degree-qualified naturopath in Gisborne, I support women across the Macedon Ranges with personalised treatment plans using herbal medicine, nutrition and lifestyle medicine.
Rather than simply treating symptoms, naturopathy focuses on understanding why the body has become out of balance and supporting it to restore healthy function.

I’m Sarah Richards, a degree-qualified naturopath based in Gisborne, supporting women across the Macedon Ranges, including Mount Macedon, Woodend, Riddells Creek, and Kyneton.
I understand how overwhelming changes in hormones, digestion, metabolism, stress, and sleep can feel, and I take a whole-body approach to help restore balance and wellbeing. Combining traditional naturopathic principles with tools such as iridology, pathology and functional testing when appropriate, to help build a clearer picture of your health. I take the time to understand you, your lifestyle, stressors, and goals.
I create a supportive plan with diet and lifestyle guidance, and when appropriate, herbal medicine and nutritional therapeutics. My aim is to work alongside you in your journey toward balance, helping you feel supported, seen, and strong.

What To Expect
-
Initial Consultation
$160
Allow 75-90 minutes for your first appointment. This is your time to be truly heard.
We’ll take a comprehensive look at your health, exploring your full case history, current symptoms, lifestyle, diet, and emotional wellbeing. This detailed process helps us understand the broader patterns related to your hormonal health.
We may discuss related systems such as digestion, and the nervous system, as these are often closely linked to hormonal health.
Physical assessments may include blood pressure, tongue and nail analysis, and iridology to provide further insights. We’ll also review any recent pathology results from your GP, and if appropriate, recommend further testing to clarify your health picture.
Where indicated, a personalised herbal formula can be prepared. A detailed naturopathic plan will be emailed to you after your appointment, which may include suggested nutritional supplements.
-
Return Consultation
$90
Return consultations are usually scheduled about 2-4 weeks after your initial appointment. This allows us to review how your body is responding to the first stage of your personalised plan.
During the session, we’ll assess any changes in your symptoms and make adjustments as needed. This may include refining a herbal formula, modifying nutritional support, or updating dietary and lifestyle strategies.
If any testing was recommended, we’ll review your results together and discuss what they indicate for your ongoing care.
If required, follow-up appointments are generally spaced every 4–6 weeks after the initial phase to provide structured monitoring and address any emerging health considerations.
Ongoing care is flexible and collaborative, tailored to your needs and circumstances. The aim is to provide practical support at a pace that works for you.
